Christopher T. Melroy, MD, FARS

·        A native of Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Chris Melroy has been practicing at the Georgia Nasal & Sinus Institute since 2006. He graduated as valedictorian from Benedictine Military School in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. He graduated summa cum laude and was a First Honor Graduate, UGA’s equivalent to valedictorian. He then began his studies at Medical College of Georgia where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a junior student. He earned his MD in 2001 and moved to Chapel Hill, NC. He was an intern in the Department of General Surgery at UNC Hospital and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina in 2006. Following residency, he then returned to Savannah to pursue fellowship training in Rhinology with Dr. Frederick Kuhn. Dr. Melroy is a board certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology (AAO-HNS) and a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS). When he is not keeping his patients happy and healthy, he enjoys spending time with wife and three children.
