New Treatment for Nasal Polyps

Dr. Campbell is excited to announce that he was the first Otolaryngologist in the United States to implant a new nasal polyp treatment outside of clinical trials (SINUVA sinus implant) and to date is the leading provider of Sinuva in the country. The implant was recently approved by the FDA to treat nasal polyps in adults who have had previous ethmoid sinus surgery. SINUVA is a non-surgical option that is placed in the office. The implant expands in the sinus cavity, delivering a steroid directly to the sinonasal mucosa for up to 90 days. The implant softens over time and can be removed at 90 days or earlier at the physician’s discretion. It has been clinically proven to reduce nasal congestion and polyps. Georgia Nasal & Sinus Institute is excited to offer this new non-surgical treatment to their patients with recurrent nasal polyposis following prior sinus surgery.
